Postdoctoral Positions in Molecular Optical Imaging @ RPI
The Center for Modeling, Simulation, and Imaging in Medicine (CeMSIM) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute has a postdoctoral position available immediately. We are looking for candidates with experience and interests at the intersection of molecular optical imaging, drug delivery assessment and artificial intelligence to work on NIH/NIC funded projects monitoring in vivo drug-target engagement using macroscopic fluorescence lifetime imaging.
The successful candidate will be joining a diverse team performing cutting-edge research at the intersection of AI, optical instrumentation,fluorescence lifetime imaging, F rster resonance energy transfer and preclinical cancer studies. We are collaborating with biologists, physicians and researchers from some of the best insitutions in the world and investigating targeted drug delivery.

Minimum qualifications:
Candidates must possess, at minimum, a PhD Degree or an equivalent degree in a technical/analytic area including, but not limited to, biomedical engineering, computer science, electrical/optical engineering.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- • Experience in fluorescence imaging
- • Experience in Deep Learning
- • Excellent interpersonal skills
- • Analytic, reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- • Knowledge of fluorescence lifetime imaging
- • Experience with experiemental data processing
- • Optical tomography
- • Experience with Matlab and Python
- • Experience with high impact peer-review paper and grant writing

The position is in Troy, NY. Founded in 1824, Rensselaer is the first technological university in the English-speaking world.
