Congratulations Dr. Stefan Radev!

10/1/2026: Congratulations to Stefan Radev on his first NIH R01 award! The $1.4 million, four-year project, funded by the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB), supports a collaboration with our lab to improve the accuracy and reliability of functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) through biophysical simulation, generative AI, and Bayesian inference. The project will develop advanced computational tools for more realistic brain imaging and real-world fNIRS applications.
